Secure File
Encryption
Protect your sensitive files with military-grade AES-256 encryption.
Zero servers. Zero tracking. Zero compromise.
AES-256 Encryption
Military-grade encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation for maximum security.
Client-Side Only
Everything happens in your browser. No servers, no data transmission, complete privacy.
Zero Knowledge
We never see your files or passwords. Your data remains completely private.
How It Works
Simple, secure, and straightforward. Protect your files in four easy steps.
Create Content
Write your message using our rich markdown editor and attach any files you want to protect.
Set Password
Choose a strong password. We'll use PBKDF2 to derive a secure encryption key from it.
Encrypt & Download
Your content is encrypted with AES-256 and packaged into a secure .enc file.
Share Safely
Share the .enc file through any channel. Only those with the password can decrypt it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about secure file encryption.
How secure is the encryption?
We use AES-256 encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation, the same standards used by governments and financial institutions. Each file gets a unique salt and initialization vector for maximum security.
Can you see my files or passwords?
Absolutely not. Everything happens in your browser using client-side JavaScript. We never receive, store, or have access to your files, passwords, or any data.
What file types are supported?
All file types are supported - documents, images, videos, audio files, archives, and more. There's a 50MB total size limit per encryption operation.
What happens if I forget my password?
Unfortunately, if you forget your password, your encrypted files cannot be recovered. This is by design - even we cannot help you recover them, ensuring true zero-knowledge security.
Can I decrypt files on different devices?
Yes! The .enc files can be decrypted on any device with a modern web browser. Just visit our tool and upload the .enc file with the correct password.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, there's a 50MB total limit per encryption operation. This ensures good performance in web browsers while still supporting most use cases.
How do I know my password is strong enough?
Our tool includes a password strength indicator that helps you create secure passwords. We recommend at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Can encrypted files be shared via email or cloud storage?
Yes! The .enc files are safe to share through any channel - email, cloud storage, messaging apps, etc. The encryption protects your data even if the transmission method is compromised.
